Bored of those long locks growing incessantly, as if there was no way to stop them from growing. It felt like the never ending set of problems which pop up anytime - anywhere, just at the moment when trying to settle.
So thought of getting up to bring to a halt, the boredom and monotony around. A new hair cut gave another revival by the end of this year. a revival of new hopes with a new year approaching and bringing in solutions to various problems just lying aside.
A little bit of change here and there brings a spark that ignites an urge to a blissful living. In these past 9 years, I never left home without them, except for a rare moment. This time without informing them and taking advantage of them being independent individuals now, I stepped out. As I returned home my kids were surprised to see the change and it felt for a moment that lot of energy has been added to my aura which led to invariable smiles full of surprise.
It felt as if the hard rock I was carrying unwantedly and thoughtlessly, has been taken off my head. A feeling of new skin shining like a dewdrop at the dawn brought in a new confidence. My excited Duo jumped on to the phone to capture and create some snapchat stories for this event. I too went along to pick up the feel and carry on the excitement making those silly pouts and poses to enjoy the moment, no less than a celebration for them. This new Mumma was really appreciated, as they had never been as well as seen the part of my life before they were born. (Moreover, childhood is the most interesting stage, as one is new to the world and absolutely fresh and free to notice and question all changes happening around).Though I didn't bother to work upon myself after that. life went on and things happened as they were meant to be. My aspirations in life then typically transformed into their upbringing and building a resourceful environment for them.
Just looking back to the pictures they clicked, I recalled those days where I had same short hair and so scrolled down to some old pictures from the memory box. Those days full of inevitable confidence, energy and the will to realize those dreams bubbling with aspirations. Once again I discerned -- "The things we do not want to happen ji in life, they are the only events which occur most frequently and without any notice. We can never turn back the pages of time, though we may wish to relive a happy moment. We never can, BECAUSE the sand of time continues to fall, and we can't turn the hourglass over."
but yes , all in all it was a day of rejuvenation in these long locked times commemorating the past with the best friends of present--My beautiful kids.
